Designed for Maximum Performance

Built upon years of customer feedback, the SRX3 Wireless Headset incorporates internal component improvements and external design enhancements to maximise performance. To enhance speech recognition while protecting microphone integrity, the microphone is highlighted in red as a clear visual indicator that the protective windscreen is missing.

Internal improvements provide resistance to environmental extremes, enabling the headset to withstand 24/7 usage in harsh conditions. Enhanced capabilities for Android-based operations include hands-free profile (HFP) support and easy-touch pairing with Android devices. Updated Bluetooth certification, improved encryption security, and wireless update capabilities ensure seamless communication with modern infrastructures.

The “flip-to-mute” microphone functionality allows operators to reposition the mic boom and quickly pause interaction with the voice system — an essential feature for maintenance and inspection operations.

ANDROID SUPPORT AND COMPATIBILITY

The SRX3 Wireless Headset features

built-in HFP client support for Android

applications to ensure seamless

compatibility in operations that want

to leverage their existing Android

infrastructures and Honeywell’s Android-

based voice software. Connectivity

is simplified through a user-friendly,

touch-pairing interface that allows

mobile workers to quickly pair their

headset to an Android device.

VISUAL MICROPHONE PROTECTION

Unprotected headset microphones

accumulate debris, which can impair

their ability to function properly.

In addition, exhaling directly onto

microphones impedes speech

recognition. To maintain optimal

headset accuracy and performance, it’s

imperative to protect the microphone

using its wind screen. The SRX3 Wireless

Headset microphone is tinted bright red

to serve as an immediate visual reminder

that the microphone is unprotected.

  • Optional configurations allow the SRX3 Wireless Headset to be easily used with a regular headband, a cupped headband, or a hard hat. Its core electronics and batteries provide the flexibility for a variety of configurations to meet the diverse individual needs of workplace environments.

 

  • Backwards compatibility enables the SRX3 Wireless Headset to be used with the previous generation of SRX2 equipment. This allows operation in a “mixed” environment without the need to replace all existing hardware.

BUILT FOR EXTREMES

 

The SRX3 Wireless Headset is designed to offer ultimate flexibility, regardless of the operating environment. It is engineered and certified to function in high-noise and extreme conditions, from excessively hot to freezing cold, or dry to damp settings. The headset delivers exceptional battery performance, lasting up to 10 hours in freezer conditions (operational down to -22°F [-30°C]) and up to 20 hours in dry environments. Furthermore, the SRX3 Wireless Headset features microphone enhancements that ensure reliable performance in these challenging environments.
