The Intermec CN70 & CK70 now have the capability to scan and capture numberplate data directly to a handheld application.  Using Intermec’s EA30 2D imaging engine in combination with sophisticated OCR software (Optical Character Recognition), these devices are now capable of automating the capture of numberplate data at the point of activity.

Applications such as parking enforcement and vehicle asset management stand to gain from improved accuracy & productivity by removing human error and reducing the time taken to record numberplate data.
