BEC (Systems Integration) Ltd, a leading UK-based supplier of data capture solutions for supply chain logistics and manufacturing, has extended its GS1 UK Partner Accreditation for a further three years.
The continuation of this GS1 accreditation demonstrates that BEC has a high level of understanding of GS1’s supply chain and barcoding standards, which allow its technical and sales teams to guide its customers to the most appropriate data capture solutions for their business.
GS1 UK is an independent, not-for-profit organisation which sets global standards that make the reliable identification of products and assets possible. Its Partner Programme is for companies that provide products, service and solutions that use the GS1 standards.
Tony Hampson, Managing Director at BEC, comments “BEC was one of the first organisations to achieve GS1 UK Partner Accreditation when the scheme was first launched in 2010, and the extension of our accreditation is a testimony to the knowledge and skills of our consultants. From the physical production of barcodes to harnessing the power of GS1 standards, streamlining logistics processes or enhancing product traceability, we know we have the knowledge to steer our customers towards leveraging the full benefits of barcoding and GS1 guidelines.”
Jonathan Brown, Partner Programme Manager at GS1 UK, concludes “This accreditation status demonstrates that BEC has a significant level of knowledge of GS1 barcoding standards; a stamp of approval which many customers now look for.”
This comes just as BEC is celebrating 20 years in business, during which it has been able to boast year-on-year growth, thanks to the provision of market-leading technical expertise and solutions. It is now looking to build upon its success and growth forecast by expanding into new markets and increasing its headcount further during 2014.
