End-of-build schedule for the CK30 Series of handheld computers.
Intermec, a leading manufacturer and supplier of automatic information and data capture technologies has issued the end-of-build notice for the CK30 Series of handheld computers.
The CK30 series, which now includes the CK30C (wireless, colour) models, will reach the end-of-build deadline in June 2009.
The product retirement schedules are as follows:

The innovative features in product specs (Windows Mobile 6.1, bigger display, more memory and storage capacity, improved barcode reader technology among others) and pricing as well as application oriented benefits (RFID, Voice, etc) of the CK3 mobile computer will provide customers with a more suitable device.
Under normal conditions, Intermec supports a product for a minimum of 3 years, though typically longer, after product retirement. Intermec's ability to continue support after the initial three year period is dependent upon availability of spare parts and vendor obsolescence issues that are beyond Intermec's control.
