Welcome to BEC’s first quarterly newsletter!
In this edition we have included an exciting case study about Raleigh’s new WMS system, which has helped them to reduce inventory inaccuracies and streamline their overall business processes. We have also included information on our ‘Sweet Deal’ with Haribo, as well as new voice solutions for Hydrasun and Horseware.
Working with our partners, we have also struck gold with Honeywell Vocollect and gone platinum with Datalogic!

Raleigh Selects New WMS Solution from BEC
As a result of implementing our WMS solution, Raleigh now captures and records data for mission-critical applications with ease. This has helped to reduce inventory inaccuracies, improve upon efficiency, maximise throughput and streamline overall business processes.
BEC Signs Sweet Deal with Haribo
Having previously used a paper-based system to record goods in, internal stock movements, stock counting and picking, Haribo was struggling with inventory accuracy and visibility, which in turn was affecting purchasing and manufacturing planning.
Having looked at a number of solutions, Haribo chose BEC to automate their warehouse facility, whilst seamlessly integrating the new solution into its M3 ERP system.
Horseware Looks to BEC for WMS Voice Solution
Due to a period of rapid business growth, Horseware’s Movex ERP system and the paper-based method which it was using to record the movement of goods around the warehouse were not providing the company with the level of functionality required to cope with new levels of demand.
Horseware chose BEC to work with them to install a brand new Warehouse Management Solution with Voice, forming a total door-to-door voice solution for use within its picking, put-away, stock movement, despatch and replenishment operations.
Hydrasun Finds Its Voice with BEC
Having previously used hand held terminals with traditional screens and keyboards running BEC’s eSmart Software in a mixed mode environment, Hydrasun identified the need for devices which were faster and more reliable, and contacted BEC to source an improved solution.
Hydrasun is now using the Honeywell Vocollect A730 Talkman mobile devices with integrated short range scanners running BEC’s eSmart Voice Picking application, coupled with SRX2 headsets to further streamline its picking and put-away processes.
BEC Strikes Gold with Honeywell’s Vocollect Solutions
We have achieved Honeywell’s Vocollect™ Gold Total Solution Provider (TSP) Status – just 18 months after we were awarded Silver TSP Status!
This new status represents a renewed accolade for us in terms of the innovative product picking solutions we have created with voice technology at their core.
